Spring has sprung, which means it's time to come out of hibernation mode! Feeling the warm sun on your face after a long, cold winter is a feeling like none other. Now is also about the time when we start to get a little more social, and gather with friends and family to enjoy the nice weather. As charcuterie lovers, we think it’s an amazing time to create a spring charcuterie board that you can enjoy with the ones you love. Let's talk about how to create a spring charcuterie board.
One super simple way to incorporate spring into your next board is by using seasonal fruits and veggies. Not only is it amazingly fresh, seasonal produce is also at its peak nutritional value.
Here are some seasonal fruits and veggies that you can incorporate into your spring charcuterie board:

Spring Charcuterie Board Inspiration
Spring is a perfect time for light, bright, and fresh boards. This spring, we’re loving the idea of picnic charcuterie boards, produce-focused boards, and crudité boards. Let’s take a look at some inspo for your next spring charcuterie board.
First up, crudité boards. Crudité is a French word that means “raw things.” And a crudité board is exactly that! It features raw veggies, dips (such as hummus, tzatziki, guacamole, or savory yogurt dips), olives, pickles, cheese, and sometimes a carb to dip (such as pitas, crackers, or a sliced baguette). It’s time to level up that sad grocery veggie tray!
Here’s some beautiful crudité inspiration:
We love this gorgeous creation because of the simplicity yet thoughtfulness of the dish. There are a few different veggie varieties, which are served with a herb-y white bean dip, marinated feta with sun-dried tomatoes, thyme, and garlic, and a cherry thyme compound butter. YUM. Clearly, just because you’re making a vegetable-based board, it doesn’t have to be bland!
This board throws in some fun extras like nuts and oranges that you might not typically see. We love the variety and protein that this adds!
Next up, this beautiful spring charcuterie board by Modern Honey.
Not only is this board visually stunning, it has an incredible variety of flavors and textures. We love how she used jars to separate some of the veggies and use vertical space, instead of laying everything out flat. She even includes some brightly colored macarons, which is a fun contrast to the produce. Candied orange slices, a goat cheese log with blueberries, honeycomb, and edible flowers all make an appearance as well. These elegant touches elevate the board, and scream “spring!”
This spring-inspired cheese board is seriously so beautiful and mouth-watering. This board is focused on berries and the bright colors of spring. It incorporates a variety of ingredients from blueberry goat cheese to prosciutto to radishes. We love the array of colors and textures incorporated into this spring charcuterie board.
We love the idea of picnic charcuterie for a date night, a fun family dinner, or an on the go snack! What we love even more is the easy clean-up Fueling a Southern Soul incorporates by creating her charcuterie spread in individual-serving containers. This is such a fun option to take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy charcuterie outdoors.
